It features a beautiful line with just a slight taper to the skirt, 4 necklines, 3 sleeve lengths and 3 hem lengths!

This dress can be casual or formal depending on the fabric you select as well as the different hem and neckline variations! The best part of all is that you get to be the designer! View one features a very pretty jewel neckline. View two features a wider, deeper scooped neckline and View three features a beautiful lower cut v-neck line. View 4 is a pretty square neckline with rounded corners. Instructions are included for adjusting each neckline to achieve the look that is perfect for you!

This is more fitted style than we have ever done before, and the sewing guide includes lots of great instructions for how to achieve the perfect fit! The dress features a zipper up the back and shaping darts in both the back and the front.

Nursing Classics #210 comes in 6 sizes which will fit Mom's with a bustline ranging from 30-50 inches and hips ranging from 33-53 inches. Instructions for adapting the pattern for even larger sizes are included in the sewing guide. This pattern also includes instructions on how to fit the sleeve and the back waist.

The nursing openings on this dress extend from the armhole opening and form a beautiful pocket just below the waist. (Can you see it?) This is just a nice little addition that allows you to hold your drivers license, car key or other items without destroying the line of the dress. The nursing opening itself is the nicest we have ever developed and includes several variations to appeal to moms of all sizes. For larger moms, there are openings over each breast with side access. For average moms, there is a central nursing opening with side access. For smaller moms (or any mom that wants to try this!) we have developed a really unique central opening with a snap at center front (see below). Instructions for all three openings are included in the sewing guide!

This pattern will truly be a classic addition to your wardrobe! While there are quite a few fitting details to this pattern, it is not difficult to sew! Our step by step sewing guides with lots of illustrations will help you create the dress of your dreams!

My third child was born in February 2001 and money is very tight. I wanted to get a new dress for her christening but I new I just could not afford it. I was then cleaning out my closet and found 3 1/2 yards of the very pretty purple floral rayon material. So I decided to search for a nursing pattern. Well as you can imagine the usually pattern (simplicity, McAlls, Butterick) were all so ugly. I decided to hit the internet. Well a search on www.ask.com brought me to you. I immediately ordered the basic sheath dress. It came in the mail in two days.
I studied the directions very closely. It was very easy to sew. The only problem that I had was getting the princess seams of the nursing overlay to be even at the arm hole. I solved this problem by trying on the dress before I sewed in the sleeves and put dots where I felt they looked best on me. I was also surprised to find the dress had a generous amount of ease to it. I started out making the XL (my size according to the measurements) and took the dress in about 2 inches total. I used the nursing opening with the snaps, short sleeves and used a shorter skirt length.
So for just the cost of the pattern I was able to wear a brand new dress to my daughters christening. Many of the guests that we had at the party afterwards commented on what a beautiful dress I had on. All were shocked to find out it was a nursing dress. My sister in law (also a nursing mom) has now asked me to make a dress for her. I am differently going to make this dress again. Perhaps in black velvet for the holidays.
I am so excited about your patterns I can hardly wait to order some more. I am going to brag about you at my next La Leche League meeting. Finally some patterns and fashions that don't look like maternity leftovers. I only wish I had found you sooner. Thank you, Karen from New York

I just made my muslin of the NC#210 dress and I LOVE it! I did the square neckline, shortest length and a lapped zipper. I am a novice seamstress, so I wanted to practice with the zipper - I suppose most people wouldn't bother with a zipper in a muslin. But I definitely needed the practice -- I absolutely love the square neckline! I also made it sleeveless. This is by far my favorite pattern (haven't made the 301 yet -- it just arrived yesterday). Thank you so much for such beautiful designs! Blessings, Karen
