This picture is another version of mother/daughter combination. This time we used a bright yellow rayon fabric. The young girls just LOVE this dress! It slips on easily over a swimming suit and it is also easy enough to sew that it is a very good teaching tool for sewing lessons.

In this photo, Mary is wearing a size small which fits bustlines of 34-36 inches. Chalinor is wearing the X-small which fits bustlines of 32" and was just a little bit large on her 30" chest measurement.

These two dresses also were cut from just 3 yards of 60" fabric! They were exactly the same length which made Chalinor's dress go to the ankles and Mary's ended up at mid-calf. Next time, we will make the mom dress longer! More fabric will be required for longer lengths and bigger sizes.
