Nursing Top/Tunic/Dress is easy to sew and offers a variety of combinations perfect for the nursing mother. Nursing Openings are concealed beneath the decorative and functional overlays. View One features a tulip" split front variation. View 2 features a decorative lined vest and View 3 features a flared front and back overlay with an optional mock turtleneck collar. All views may be fashioned with either short or long sleeves and made as a top, a tunic, or a dress. Special instructions are included for adapting this pattern for maternity wear.

Sizing: This pattern includes cutting lines for all sizes and is adjustable for Miss Petite. Note: Please compare your measurements to the chart below. Allow 4-6 inches of ease for a comfortable fit across the bustline and hip areas. More information on fitting is included in the sewing guide.

Yardage figures are as precise as possible. Please allow extra for shrinkage and pre-wash fabric before cutting. All layouts and yardage figures are for fabrics with or without nap except for view four which is without nap. Additional fabrics may be needed to match stripes, plaids, or one way designs.

Suggested fabrics:
Views 1 & 2:knit fabrics, cotton and cotton blends, woven cottons and cotton blends, washable cotton polyester blends, washable silks and satins may be appropriate if leakage is not a problem. Avoid white and transparent fabrics. Prints and multicolored fabrics are ideal and provide maximum security.
View 3: Knit fabrics are recommended unless you omit the mock turtleneck collar.

Notions:
All Views: Thread.
View 2: 35/8" decorative buttons or snaps. Interfacing may be used for View 2 if desired.
